Robert Parker - 91 point
"The outstanding 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Heritage, also 100% Grenache, comes from 107-year-old vines. Aged in a combination of new oak and tank, it reveals a saturated ruby/purple hue, a quasi-modern, vanillin, toasty component in the nose, and plenty of Chateauneuf du Pape typicity.
Big, rich, and exuberant, with copious aromas of kirsch, lavender, and spice box, full-bodied flavors, sweet tannin, and good acidity as well as freshness, it should drink well for 10-15 years.
Readers should keep an eye on this estate as the quality of the wines has improved dramatically over recent years."
